DJ Ogre, a native to San Diego, CA., has pursued his passion for music through the art of DJ'ing. DJ Ogre's interest for DJ'ing and the love of music started at the young age of 12. From his humble beginnings with "hand me down" and "second hand" equipment, DJ Ogre would practice relentlessly after school and into late nights. Getting his start like most DJ's at local house parties filled with break dancing crews, freestyle MC's, and battle DJ's. DJ Ogre quickly learned that the DJ was in control and that song selection was an important skill and talent to learn in order to control the crowd and overall vibe.
Living up and down the West Coast through out his life, DJ Ogre was able to acquire different skills and styles to the art DJ'ing, to help mold his own creative and unique skill and style of sound that he pumps out now. Through his illusive style of mixing and scratching, DJ Ogre has the perceptual ability to allow any song selection shine. Orchestrating many genres of music to captivate his listeners and make them crave for more, DJ Ogre is no stranger to rocking the crowd. With his "never give up" attitude and always innovating, DJ Ogre continuously pushes the envelope as a pioneer to the art of DJ'ing.
DJ Ogre now resides in Bakersfield, CA. Wasting no time making his presence known in Kern County. DJ Ogre has become one of the most sought after and respected DJ's in his area. Holding numerous residencies at some of Bakersfield's hottest clubs and radio stations. His unique sound is spread through out the Central Valley, performing for a substantial amount of clubs, private parties, corporate events, and radio mixshows. DJ Ogre's foundation is very strong and is only getting stronger as he hones his talent. Becoming a conductor of sound that moves, controls, and engulfs club goers as well as all of his listeners, DJ Ogre's art of DJ'ing and musical control on the turntables is tired and true stemming from the roots of true old skool to present day.
Catch DJ Ogre in the mix at various clubs through out the week, with a residency at Azul (1514 Wall St Downtown Bakersfield) on Tuesday Nights (Industry Tuesdays) and on Saturday Nights (Sexy Saturdays). As well as on HOT 94.1 (KISV FM) on the weekend mixshows (Friday Night Heat and Saturday Night Street Party)
